Greeting from a new member

This is a repeat of my Facebook post, and here is the reason why: I signed up to Facebook recently to join the Linjettseglare group. The message on Linjettseglare was my first post. Hours later, Zuck’s AI police decided that my post “did not follow the Community standards on account integrity” and disabled my account and denied further appeal. Amazing! Perhaps my post was a little too enthusiastic about Linjett, and the bots concluded I was on a mission. Strangely enough, soon after I started to receive emails from Facebook for Business. But with no right to appeal or humans to talk to, there is little I can do. So I will stick to the Linjettfoerbundet forum for now. And I will wear the badge of having denied Facebook membership for being too enthusiastic about Linjett with honour ?. So here’s the original post:

I am a new member of the Linjett Association from the North of England and want to say hello. My wife Anna and I will soon take delivery of a L34 and we are very excited about joining the Linjett family.

Our previous yacht was a Stephen Jones-designed Mystery 35 which we kept on the West Coast of Scotland. Before we owned an Artekno H-Boat. The new L34 will be called Dshigit, as all our boats have. Dshigit III will stay in Rosaettra for the summer then move to Largs on the Firth of Clyde.

Linjett yachts are not well known in the United Kingdom and we would like this to change. We vaguely knew about Linjett through a chance encounter in the Shetland Isles in 2011 when we rafted alongside a beautiful Norwegian L33 called Fryd. More than decade later, a photo helped us track down Rosaettra Boatyard, meet Matti and Markus, and the rest is history…
